Carolina Flag Football Factory runs elementary school flag football programs across North Carolina and South Carolina. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
What this policy covers
This policy covers this website, csfflag.com.
It does not cover program registration. When you click through to register your child, you leave this website and go to our registration platform, which handles enrollment and payment and has its own privacy policy. Please read that policy before completing a registration.
Information you give us
You only give us information on this website if you choose to contact us. That usually means emailing info@csfflag.com, or submitting an enquiry form if one is available on the page you are viewing.
In those cases we receive whatever you choose to send, which is typically your name, your email address, your school, and the substance of your question. We use it to answer you and, where relevant, to follow up with a school about starting a program. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your agreement.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one collects some information automatically as you browse:
- Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, including IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics data from Google Analytics, which tells us things like which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located, and whether people arrived from a search engine or a link. We use this to understand what is useful and what is not.
We look at this information in aggregate. We are not trying to identify individual visitors, and we do not attempt to.
Children
Our programs are for elementary school children, but this website is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this site, and children should not send us information directly.
Information about a child, such as their name, grade, or school, is provided by a parent or guardian during registration on our registration platform, or by a parent contacting us. We use it only to run the program the child is enrolled in.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at info@csfflag.com and we will delete it.
Photographs
We sometimes use photographs of our programs on this website and on social media. Photography permissions are handled through the registration process, not through this website. If you would like a photograph of your child removed, email info@csfflag.com and we will take it down.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses them in two ways:
- Necessary cookies, set by WordPress so the site functions correctly. If you are not logged in as a site administrator, there are very few of these.
- Analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics to distinguish one visit from another.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
Content from other websites
Some pages may include content hosted elsewhere, such as an embedded video or map. Those providers can collect information about you in the same way they would if you visited their site directly. We do not control what they collect.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the companies that help us operate:
- Our web host, which stores the site and its server logs

- Our email provider, for messages you send us
- Our registration platform, if you register for a program
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a child, our staff, or the public.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry emails for as long as they are useful for running and following up on programs, and then delete them. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s standard retention settings. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@csfflag.com and we will respond. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state law, and we will honor those.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google’s browser add-on, and you can block cookies in your browser at any time.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
